Mysteriously

The epic love story of my life began as he moved with the air. I don’t suppose I knew it was he that was there. But he’s just on the brow of the hill and I lose the power over my own will. As I reach out to know his name and he comes closer but still the same. And I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do. I look at the ground, then look up at you. And you’re tall and brilliant and sporadically prose. And I blush at the path I chose. And you’re all talk. But I barely know how to walk. As you spiral diagrams into the air. I just remember that we were there. In a moment held aloft. I love you through the frost. And we grow and we age and time passes by. It’s the kind of thing where you don’t have to try. And you are unique and mysteriously. I hold our love in certainty. At the core of my heart. When does the riverbend start? Is it just as it meets a waterfall? I see you there through it all. And things change. But this is something I won’t exchange. For something new and bright and shine. I get to appreciate what can never be mine. Because he is free. And loving you is my destiny.
